what is this stuff suppose to smell like?

is it suppose to have a slight ketchup smell to it? i just got a 2008 batch from MN hookah which i was told was fine.. but it still has a ketchup smell to it.

Weird thing happend to me.. I got some recently dated sometime late 2007, first time I smelt it it was fine, smelled great.. Later I told me roomate it was might smell like ketchup, he smells it and.. he says it smells like ketchup! I then smell it and.. SAME thing!!

Its freaky.. smokes like grape though so its all good here

As far as I've seen it's always smelled like Ketchup, before and after the apparent "bad" dates. I've just come to expect it, but I've never had it affect the smoke.

iam gonna try it later tonight.. it honestly smells pretty bad... hopefully its not bad... this would be my second bad batch of grape :|

There is a slight ketchup undertone to it. But it should smoke perfectly clickhea. Thats how the one i opened smelled like and it was the best smoke i love this flavor.

I just bought another thing of Grape from the store, Production date of Aug. 2007 and it reeks of ketchup lol.... I'll tell ya how it smokes in a few minutes.

I got one from jan 2008 that has a ketchup-ish smell to it. Let it acclimate for awhile.

I just got done with the new grape I bought, ketchup smell.... No ketchup taste... I deem it safe to smoke...

dec 2008 doesn't smell like ketchup. It's the flavor I smoke the most and it has never smelled like ketchup.

just smoked it.. its really hard to say weather or not it tastes right because i never smoked a "good" batch of the al fakher grape.

We had one compalint so far about a bad jar of AF Grape. The date was Oct 2007 on that one. We got our new shipment in and the date on those boxes is Jan 2008. No complaints so far on those jars. We sent an email to Al Fakher about this problem but have not heard back from them. We will keep you updated if we hear anything.
